ZenVoice for doctors
Chart notes at speaking speed. Nothing uploaded.
Charting after clinic is where the evenings go. ZenVoice writes your notes on your Mac as fast as you can say them, writes doses and dates the way you'd type them, and never sends a word to a server.
You say · Notes
“Follow up in two weeks, uh, repeat the blood work and increase the dose to ten milligrams.”
ZenVoice types
Follow up in two weeks, repeat the blood work and increase the dose to 10 mg.
Why doctors and clinicians choose ZenVoice.
It runs on your Mac, not in the cloud
Your voice, your words and your work never leave your Mac. There's no account and nothing to sign in to.
You pay once, not every month
Free for 14 days with no card, then $14.99 once for two Macs, the launch price for the first 100. No subscription, no word limits.
Made for doctors and clinicians
The same engine, tuned to how you work: the examples on this page are what ZenVoice really types.
What slows doctors and clinicians down today.
- Hours of charting after the last patient leaves.
- Cloud dictation means patient details travel to someone else's servers.
- Doses and dates come out as words that have to be fixed by hand.
Three steps, anywhere.
- 1
Put your cursor anywhere
Any app with a text field: an editor, a browser, a chat, a form.
- 2
Press the shortcut and talk
⌃⌥Space, or hold a key. Your words appear as you speak.
- 3
It's written
Clean text lands at your cursor, in the tone of the app you're in.
What ZenVoice does for doctors and clinicians.
Doses and dates by rule
“Ten milligrams” is 10 mg and “March fourth at two thirty” is March 4 at 2:30.
Your terms, spelled right
Add drug names and colleagues to your Dictionary once, or accept a suggestion after you correct one.
Runs offline
Everything runs on your Mac, so it works on a locked-down network or none at all.
Keep nothing, if you like
Turn off Keep a history in Settings → What ZenVoice remembers, and nothing is saved after the text lands.

ZenVoice for doctors and clinicians: common questions.
Is ZenVoice HIPAA compliant?
We don't claim any certification. Your dictation never leaves your Mac, so nothing is shared with us or anyone else; check your organisation's rules before using it with patient records.
Does it know medical vocabulary?
The speech models are general-purpose. Add the drug names and terms you use to your Dictionary and they're spelled your way from then on.
Does it work in our EHR?
If the EHR has a text field on your Mac, native or in the browser, ZenVoice types into it.
