Licence and purchase terms

Pro, US$14.99 once. One person, on up to two Macs that belong to or are assigned to them, for personal or internal business use:

• Every model and language in the app, running on your Mac. Some models need more capable hardware.
• One year of new features and new models, counted from the day you buy. Anything released in that year stays yours, even if you download it later.
• Bug fixes, UI fixes and macOS compatibility updates forever, even after that year.
• Upgrade to Lifetime at any time for US$25.00. It changes your existing key; it doesn’t add Macs.

Lifetime, US$39.99 once. Everything in Pro, plus every new feature and new model we ever release.

Launch prices apply to the first 100 personal licences. After that, Pro is US$39.99 and Lifetime is US$99.00. The price you paid never changes what you bought.

Updates come at no extra charge. They don’t promise any particular future feature or release date, or that every future model will run on every older Mac.

For 5 or more Macs. You get one licence key per Mac, each with Pro’s rights: permanent use, a year of new features and models, and fixes forever. You hand the keys out.

• 5–9 Macs: US$29.99 per Mac.
• 10–24 Macs: US$24.99 per Mac.
• 25–100 Macs: US$19.99 per Mac.
• More than 100 Macs: email us for a quote.

The price for your number of Macs applies to every Mac in that order. Separate orders are priced separately. A key can move to another Mac once it’s deactivated on the old one; moving it doesn’t restart its year of updates.

• The 14-day trial starts when you choose to start it. It needs no account and no card.
• When the trial ends, dictation pauses until you activate a licence. Your history, settings and downloaded models stay on your Mac.
• Activating needs the internet once. After that ZenVoice works offline, with no regular check-ins. Activation sends your licence key and a random key made for your Mac, never audio or text.
• Deactivate a Mac in ZenVoice → License to free its slot for another.
• Lost your key? getzenvoice.com/manage sends a sign-in link to your purchase email and lists every licence and receipt.

Dodo Payments sells ZenVoice for us as the merchant of record. They handle checkout, tax, invoices and emailing your licence key. Prices are in US dollars; any tax or currency conversion is shown before you pay.

Refunds are available for 30 days after purchase, no questions asked; see the refund policy. A refunded purchase ends the licence it paid for. For a refund or any billing question, email hello@getzenvoice.com. Your rights under consumer law always apply.

ZENVOICE PROPRIETARY SOFTWARE LICENSE

1. Ownership and scope

ZenVoice's first-party source code, application, documentation, and original
assets are proprietary to Yash Chaudhary (the "Licensor"). This license governs
versions distributed with this license. The Software is licensed, not sold.
No ownership of the Software, source code, trademarks, or other intellectual
property transfers to a customer. Rights not expressly granted are reserved.

2. Authorized use

A customer who obtains an authorized copy may evaluate ZenVoice for 14 days
from the start of the trial. Continued use after that trial requires a valid
paid license. A valid paid license grants a non-exclusive right to use the
application for personal or internal business purposes according to the plan,
seat count, and device allowance purchased. The plan entitlements are stated
in the ZenVoice purchase terms (getzenvoice.com/terms), which form part of
this license. The terms
provided at purchase govern that purchase; later revisions do not reduce
already purchased perpetual-use or update entitlements.

Paid use is perpetual, subject to compliance with these terms and applicable
law. Pro's new-feature and new-model update period is separate from the
right to continue using previously entitled functionality. Its expiration does
not terminate the paid license. A completed refund of a license ends the
corresponding paid grant, subject to applicable consumer rights.

3. Source access and restrictions

Possession of, or access to, the private repository does not grant permission
to use, copy, modify, disclose, publish, sublicense, sell, or redistribute the
source code or other proprietary materials. Authorized collaborators may do
so only to the extent separately permitted in writing by the Licensor.
Customers may install and make reasonable backup copies of their authorized
application, but may not redistribute, resell, rent, sublicense, publicly host,
or share license keys outside their purchased seat allowance. Customers may
not circumvent license or activation controls, or reverse engineer, decompile,
or disassemble proprietary portions of the Software, except where applicable
law permits those activities notwithstanding this restriction.

Team licenses may be assigned and reassigned internally as described in the
commercial terms; reassignment does not permit simultaneous use by additional
people. Other transfers require the Licensor's written permission, except
where applicable law provides otherwise.

4. Customer data

Customers retain their rights in their recordings, transcripts, and other
content. This license does not transfer ownership of that content to the
Licensor. Data handling is described separately in the applicable privacy
notice; a software license is not consent to upload customer content.

5. Third-party materials and earlier versions

Third-party software, models, datasets, and other materials remain governed by
their respective licenses and notices, including THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md and
notices distributed with those materials. This license neither replaces those
licenses nor restricts rights they independently grant.

Versions previously distributed under the Apache License, Version 2.0 remain
subject to that license. This change does not revoke, narrow, or retroactively
replace rights already granted under Apache-2.0. Making a repository private
does not revoke rights in previously received copies.

6. Warranty and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, and without limiting express
purchase commitments or non-waivable consumer rights, the Software is provided
"AS IS" without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular
purpose, or non-infringement. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the
Licensor is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential
losses arising from use of the Software. Nothing in this license excludes or
limits liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

7. Material breach and mandatory rights

A material breach of these terms may result in termination of the affected
license after notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy a curable breach,
as required by applicable law. Termination does not transfer ownership of
customer content or authorize its deletion. Mandatory statutory rights take
precedence over conflicting terms. If a provision is unenforceable, the
remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

For permissions outside this license, obtain written authorization from
Yash Chaudhary before using or distributing the proprietary materials.
